  • 5-20-22: Adenrele‘s paper titled “Using Machine Learning and Regression Analysis to Classify and Predict Danger Levels in Burning Sites” was accepted to the IEEE World AI IoT Congress 2022 (AIIoT).
  • 5-9-22: Adenrele Ishola will continue his thesis and work on the Dell-NVIDIA Smart Firefighting project this summer as a Graduate Research Assistant.

  • 4-28-22: Dr. Valles was awarded $24,976 from Dell-NVIDIA for the Human Detection Using IR and Scream DL Classifiers and Prototype Development of Autonomous Vehicle Units for Smart Firefighting.
  • 4-11-22: Dr. Valles, in collaboration with Dr. Semih Aslan, was awarded $256,000 from the NSF-STTR Program for Phase I: Real-Time Mineral Data Collection and Identification Module with Stratajam, LLC as the TXST Co-PI!
  • 4-6-22: Dr. Valles and the team presented a talk at NASA’s eXtended Reality (XR) Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) 2022 on Digital Twin for Material Handling Operators in Industry 4.0.
