Geovanni‘s & Dr. Valles’s co-authored paper titled “Comparison of Inverse Kinematics Algorithms for Digital Twin Industry 4.0 Applications” has been accepted to the IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (IEEE-SMC 2020). To be presented virtually in Oct. 2020.
Purvesh has been accepted to return to the Student Volunteer Program (SCinet) for the Virtual SC20 as a SCinet Student Volunteer.
Rezwan, Inzamam, and Dr. Valles co-authored paper “Emotions and Emoticons: Facial Expression Recognition App for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),” was accepted to the 2020 ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Convention, with Dr. Resendiz and A. Stewart.

Dr. Valles’s collaborative paper titled “A Digital Twin Framework of a Material Handling Operator in Industry 4.0 Environments” was accepted to The Eighth International Conference on Information, Logistics and Supply Chain (ILS-2020). To be presented in Austin, TX in April 2020.

Dr. Valles’s co-authored poster titled “The RAPT Model Predicts Resilience and Vulnerability of Boreal Plant Species to Climate Change in the Cairngorm Mountains of Scotland” was accepted to the 2018 AGU Fall Meeting.
Dr. Valles’s paper titled “Visual Simulations Correlate Plant Functional Trait Distribution with Elevation and Temperature in the Cairngorm Mountains of Scotland” was accepted to CSCI’17 in the Symposium Track of Computational Biology.
