Best Presenter at CCWC

Dr. Valles was awarded as Best Presenter for the paper titled “A Victims Detection Approach for Burning Building Sites Using Convolutional Neural Networks” in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Embedded Systems session track and for the paper titled “Identification of Wild Species in Texas from Camera-trap Images Using Deep Neural Network for Conservation Monitoring” in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning session track at IEEE-CCWC 2020, UNLV.

CSCI 2018 Paper Accepted

Abdullah’s paper titled “Solar Powered Raspberry Pi-Based Cellular Modem Integrated Real-time Houston Toad Calls Detection System Design using Neural Network Trained Model” was accepted to CSCI-ISOT’18. To be presented in Las Vegas on Dec. 2018.
