Saad Rafiq and Erich Ellsworth‘s collaboration paper with HiPE Alums Adenrele Ishola, Oscar Resendiz, and Susmitha Haripriya Varanasi, “Design of Autonomous Rover for Firefighter Rescue: Integrating Deep Learning With ROS2,” has been accepted to the 2024 IEEE World AI IoT Congress (AIIoT).

Mohammad Nooruddin successfully defended his thesis titled “Secured and Versatile IoT Connectivity: A Novel LoRa-based Approach with Enhanced Encryption, Key Exchange, Real-Time Data Visualization, and Dynamic Storage Integration”
Best Paper Award!
Mohammad’s and Dr. Valles’ paper, “An Advanced IoT Framework for Long Range Connectivity and Secure Data Transmission Leveraging LoRa and ASCON Encryption,” won the best paper award in the category of Security for IoT at the 2023 IEEE AIIoT.
