Dr. Rashik Shadman has joined the HiPE group as a Postdoc Research Associate, and Junwoo “Jay” Jang has joined the HiPE group as a Ph.D. student for his dissertation research, both within the TXST Crest Center in UWBG and AI.
Shafiqul Alam Khan has successfully defended his thesis titled “UAV Navigation for Urban Firefighting Using Deep Reinforcement Learning“
Dr. Valles was invited to talk at the Department of Physics Colloquium, and will present on “Neural Operators for Physics-Informed AI in Ultrawide Bandgap (UWBG) Semiconductor Research.”
