Jamal’s “Electrical Integration of Autonomous Agricultural Bot” is his work under the USDA’s AnimalCareBot Project
Alyssa’s “Developing Artificial Intelligence Models for Predicting Cattle Movement, Behavior, and Emotion,” and collaboration with Elysa Jimenez from the AnimalCareBot project, is her work from the USDA’s Leading Hispanics program.
Dr. Valles was invited to talk at the Department of Physics Colloquium, and will present on “Neural Operators for Physics-Informed AI in Ultrawide Bandgap (UWBG) Semiconductor Research.”

Dr. Valles‘s collaborative NSF-S-STEM paper “Sowing the SEEDs (Scholars of Excellence in Engineering Design): Starting the SEED NSF S-STEM Program at Texas State University,” was accepted to the 2025 ASEE Annual Conference, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
